Città dei Balocchi in Cernobbio – Christmas Lake Como 2022-2023

THE PROGRAM
The inauguration of the Park of Villa Erba is scheduled Wednesday, December 7 at 17.00 with the ignition of the Magic Light Festival. Thursday, December 8, feast of the Immaculate Conception, will light up the Christmas tree, Villa Bernasconi and the lights of the village, in conjunction with the traditional festival in via 5 Giornate “A spasso con Santa Claus” organized by the Associazione Amici di Cernobbio.
Among the magic of lights and sounds, the Park of Villa Erba will turn into a park of surprises, free admission, populated by Christmas installations and fairy-tale characters with multiple voices, visitors will enter the atmosphere of a forest.
The typical wooden houses with Nordic style, prepared with typical products of the gastronomic tradition, objects and gift ideas, will harmonize between the colors and the essences of the park and the landscape creating a suggestive atmosphere.
The ice rink, organized in the Park of Villa Erba and open throughout the Christmas period, is a must.
The Municipality of Cernobbio with City of Toys participates in the tourist promotion project “Il Natale die Laghi” that will see for the first time join four cities between Lombardy and Switzerland: Cernobbio, Lecco, Lugano and Varese, United by the presence of lakes as a feature of the territory. are the four realities that have decided to network events and experiences in different territories. The goal is to create a link between Christmas shows and major events scheduled between December and January in the four cities.
